Sunshine Girls earn come-from-behind tie with Barbados

Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls had to come from behind to earn a 44-44 tie with Caribbean rivals Barbados in the first match of a three-test series at the National Arena on Friday night.

The Jamaicans who are ranked 4th in the world, held a slender 12-11 lead at the end of the first quarter but trailed their world number 12 ranked opponents 22-26 and 34-35 at half time and the end of the third quarter respectively.

The second test on Sunday as well as Monday's final game will also be played at the National Arena.
