Surinamese man charged after being caught with cocaine at NMIA

A Surinamese man has been charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act following the seizure of 25 pounds of cocaine at Norman Manley International Airport on Tuesday.
He is 29 year old mechanic Wlodi Decker.
The police say Mr. Decker arrived on a flight from Trinidad about 7:30 Tuesday morning.
While waiting to transit to the Bahamas, his luggage was searched during routine checks and the cocaine allegedly found. 
The drug has an estimated street value of $14 million.
