Scores of Transport Authority employees who Tuesday failed to report for work are expected back on the job on Wednesday.
Their absence was linked to reports of growing unrest at the agency over the management style of managing director, Daniel Dawes.
The protest, which involved 50 administrative workers, followed similar action taken on Monday by supervisory personnel.
Our news centre has been informed that an emergency meeting of the Board of the Transport Authority is to be held on Wednesday.
A two-page petition from the staff has urged the directors of the board of the Authority to reconsider Mr. Dawes position.
Mr. Dawes, is among other things, accused of being disrespectful to employees. The workers also claim they are being victimised.
