Tarrus Riley collects most royalties for 2015 - JACAP

The Jamaica Association of Composers Authors and Publishers (JACAP) has announced that reggae singer Tarrus Riley collected the most in royalties last year.
JACAP, a not-for-profit organisation, is made up of music creators and publishers and is responsible for collecting fees and distributing royalties and all other monies to its members.
In 2015, the top earners received as much $6 million.
As of December last year, some $320 million was distributed both locally and overseas.
General manager of the organisation, Lydia Rose is encouraging all creative minds across the island to join organisations like and including JACAP.
