Teen held with homemade gun offered bail

A teenager who was held with a homemade firearm was on Tuesday offered bail when he appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court. 
Bail was set at $200,000.
Jordane Green, 18, of Spring Park, Black River in St. Elizabeth is charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. 
He has been instructed by the court to get enrolled in an educational institution.
Mr. Green is scheduled to return to court on March 26.
It is reported that the police were conducting an operation in Spring Park last week when the teenager was accosted at a bar and searched.
The firearm and one round of ammunition were reportedly found in his possession.
