Teenager among six detained by Manchester police

Six people, including a 15 year old boy have been detained by the Manchester Police in connection with the seizure of an illegal gun this morning.

All are of Manchester addresses.

The police report that they were all held shortly after 4 o’clock  on Caledonia Road. All six were in a Toyota Corolla registered to a security company.

The vehicle was searched and a nine millimetre pistol seized.

The serial number was not visible.
