Tesha Miller, the alleged leader of the Clansman gang, was remanded when he appeared before the Home Circuit Court Friday morning.
He is to return on November 26 for a bail hearing.
Mr. Miller, who was arrested two weeks ago, has been charged in connection with the 2008 murder of Douglas Chambers, then chairman of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC).
Mr. Chambers was shot dead at the Spanish Town depot.
Mr. Miller has been charged with accessory before the fact and accessory after the fact.
