UK Prime Minister Theresa May has criticised US President Donald Trump for his comments about Democratic congresswomen of colour.
The outgoing Prime Minister called Mr. Trump's words completely unacceptable.
Mr. Trump said the women originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe and they should go back to fix the problems.
He was referring to four congresswomen - three of whom were born in the US and one who came as a child refugee.
His remarks were widely condemned as racist.
Prospective Democratic presidential candidates denounced Mr. Trump's tweets as racist and divisive.
Republican Party representatives largely kept quiet.
