Traffic changes announced for Hagley Park, Constant Spring road projects

NWA Communication Manager Stephen Shaw

Traffic changes and restrictions have been introduced as part of the Hagley Park Road and Constant Spring Road Improvement Projects.

The National Works Agency (NWA) has said this is aimed at improving the movement of traffic.

The agency's Communication Manager, Stephen Shaw, said left and right turns from Hagley Park Road will no longer be allowed onto Keesing Avenue.

In addition, Keesing Avenue will now accommodate only one way traffic.

The movement of traffic from Central Avenue onto Constant Spring Road will also be restricted.

Motorists travelling along Central Avenue and want to access Constant Spring Road will be able to do so via West Avenue.

In the meantime, the NWA is reviewing traffic changes and restrictions which were implemented as part of the closure of the Portia Simpson Miller Square Intersection during the Hagley Park Road Improvement Project.

Discussions are also underway in relation to the movement of traffic in the Half Way Tree area.
