Trinidadian talk show host dies in early morning fire

A talk show host in Trinidad and Tobago died after fire destroyed her home in St Augustine early Saturday.

Fire officials confirmed that the charred remains of Marcia Henville, a television talk show host, were found after the fire had been extinguished.

Her husband escaped with severe burns to his body.

Henville hosted the programme “Point Blank”, aired on CCN TV6.

Henville worked at various media houses here before hosting her own show “Point Blank” that showcases the life of people in depressed areas in Trinidad and Tobago.

The police said investigations into the fire are continuing.
