T&T records first COVID-19 death

An elderly man has been confirmed as Trinidad and Tobago's first fatality in the covid-19 pandemic.
Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh in a release Wednesday said the patient had a pre-existing medical condition.
The twin-island republic now has 61 confirmed cases of the respiratory illness.
Forty-four of the positive cases came from the group of nationals who returned from a cruise.
