Two charged for gun seizure in Juntion, St. Elizabeth

Two men have been charged with illegal possession of firearm following the seizure of a homemade gun in Tryall, Junction, St. Elizabeth Sunday morning.
Those charged are 26 year-old labourer Daldin Steer and 19 year-old farmer Phillip Dixon, both of Tryall.
A court date has not been announced.
Reports are that shortly before 2 o'clock, police officers from Junction were in the area when they saw the two men in a shop.
They were accosted, searched and the firearm found.
