The police say two teenagers are suspected to have drowned in Spring Garden, St. James. A third person remains hospitalised following the incident.
Dead are 15 year-old Alex Lindo of Bogue Village and 18-year-old Oshane Lowe of Ramble Hill, in the parish.
Police reports indicate that about 4 p.m., the teens were among a group of five who went swimming at Reading Beach when one of them reportedly got into difficulties. His friends reportedly tried to assist. However, they too encountered challenges.
