Two persons have been hospitalised following a collision on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston on Friday morning.

It is reported that shortly after 8 o'clock, two motorcars were travelling in a westerly direction, when on reaching an intersection, close to the Tinson Pen Aerodrome, the car that was ahead made a U-turn, causing the other car to slam into it.

Superintendent Courtney Coubrie, Operations Officer at the Highway and Traffic Division, said one of the victims was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be rescued by Fire Brigade personnel who were called to the scene.
