Two persons were killed in a motor vehicle crash along the Holland Bamboo main road in St. Elizabeth on Monday afternoon.
The mishap, which occurred shortly after 2 o'clock, involved a taxi travelling in the vicinity of the Holland Estate.
It's reported, that the driver lost control of the vehicle, which hit an embankment, overturned and slammed into a bus stop.
Six passengers including a toddler, as well as the driver, sustained injuries.
They were taken to hospital where the driver was pronounced dead.
An unidentified female passenger later succumbed to her injuries.
The dead man has been identified as 33 year old Marlon Bennett of Lacovia.
