Two men held in connection with beheading of Trelawny woman

Two men are in police custody in connection with the beheading of a woman in Clark's Town, Trelawny on Thursday.
 
They were detained on Friday and are to be questioned this weekend.
 
The police report that the  mutilated body of 59 year old Valerie Thompson, of Hampshire Lane in Clark's Town was found about 12 hours after she left home for her farm.
 
The police say it also appears she was sexually assaulted.
 
According to reports, relatives last saw Miss Thompson about 8:30 Thursday morning and when she did not return in the afternoon, members of her family became worried.
 
Several calls to her cell phone went unanswered.
 
A report was made at the Clark's Town police station and a search launched , her body was found in bushes with multiple chop wounds.
