Two year old boy murdered in St. Ann

A two year old boy was killed yesterday afternoon in St. Ann by a man who slashed his throat.

The incident took place in the community of  Lewis near St. Ann's Bay. About 5:30 the man had an altercation with a relative at a house. He left and went to a nearby property where he stabbed a man said to be of  unsound mind.

He went to another premises where he saw the child outside. He reportedly held the little boy and slashed his throat. Dead is Jayheim Cooper of  Lewis.

The man was chased by the child's relatives. He was held and tied up. The individuals were about to deliver jungle justice when the man was rescued by the police.
