Verdict expected Tuesday in Tesha Miller trial

A verdict is expected Tuesday at the trial of accused gang leader, Tesha Miller.

Trial judge Georgiana Fraser on Monday afternoon told the seven member jury that she will hand the case to them on Tuesday morning.

Miller is on trial for the June 27, 2008 murder of former JUTC Managing Director, Douglas Chambers.

During the trial, a former member of the Clansman gang was called as the key prosecution witness. He testified that Miller ordered the killing.

The witness, who is now serving time in prison after pleading guilty to murder and attempted arson, testified that a contract was taken out on the life of Mr. Chambers.

Miller denied ordering the killing. He also denied knowing the key prosecution witness.
