Waterhouse extend unbeaten RSPL run

League leaders Waterhouse have extended their unbeaten run to eight games in the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) as they clipped Humble Lion 1-0 at the Drewsland Stadium on Sunday. The all-important goal was scored in the 77th minute by captain Keithy Simpson. The win took Waterhouse up to 50 points.

Mount Pleasant Academy ensured they remain within three points of the leaders as they blanked UWI FC 3-0 at Drax Hall. Kevaughn Isaacs, Cardel Benbow and Kemar Beckford were the scorers for the St Ann-based club. In other games on the day, Dunbeholden held Vere United to a 1-1  draw, while Arnett Gardens and Molynes United played out a pulsating 2-2 all draw. Cavalier and Tivoli Gardens played out a 1-1 draw in the Monday night fixture.

The Portmore United versus Harbour View encounter has been postponed due to Portmore's commitments in the CONCACAF Champions League this week.
