The Westmoreland police are searching for a man who reportedly shot and killed his brother during a domestic dispute Thursday morning.
The police say the man, who has been identified as Brian Ellis, is on the run.
The dead man has been identified as 44-year-old Steadman Sterling.
It is reported that shortly after 7:00 a.m., the brothers got into a dispute at a property in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland.
Mr. Ellis allegedly left the scene and returned with a gun. He then opened fire on his brother, who was struck in the head. Mr. Sterling died on the spot.
