A Westmoreland man charged with breaches of the anti-lottery scam law was granted bail on Wednesday when his case came up in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court.
Omario Thomas of Bethel Town Westmoreland was granted to bail in the sum of $500,000 with surety and is to report to the Bethel Town police three days per week.
His case has been transferred to the next sitting of the St. Elizabeth Circuit Court on June 12.
Mr. Thomas was arrested on April 30 last year after his cellphone was searched.
It reportedly contained several names and addresses and other personal information of individuals living in the United States.
