Westmoreland woman charged after illegal gun found in her house

A 35 year old woman of Bethel Town in Westmoreland has been arrested and charged after an illegal shot gun was reportedly found in her house on Thursday. 
Simone Thompson, a customer service representative, has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition as well as perverting the course of justice.  
About 5:45 Thursday morning, the security forces went to the area in search of Donovan Roach, who is said to be wanted for murder, shootings and other crimes. 
It is reported that the police spoke to Ms Thompson at her home while enquiring about Mr. Roach. 
Shortly after, a man was reportedly seen jumping through a back window.
He allegedly fired shots at the officers. One policeman was shot. 
During a search of the house, the shot gun and a 9 millimetre magazine were found.
