The man who was described by the Westmoreland police as the most wanted fugitive is now in custody.
Davion Brown, 24, otherwise called "Balty", was captured shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday during a police operation in Grange Hill, Westmoreland.
He was reportedly held in possession of an illegal gun.
Mr. Brown was wanted for several shootings and murders in the parish.
He was wanted for the shooting death of a man in a supermarket in Savannah-lar-Mar in September.
