Woman charged in relation to employment scam in Manchester

A woman who was taken into custody by the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) in relation to an employment scam in Christiana, Manchester has been charged.
She is 38 year old Keisha Forbes of Job Lane, Christiana.
Ms Forbes has been charged with three counts of Obtaining Money by False Pretence and Conspiracy to Defraud.
She was charged on Tuesday.
She is scheduled to appear before the Manchester Parish Court on March 21. 
Ms Forbes is accused of convincing a number of persons that she was in a position to provide overseas employment for them. 
It is alleged that in December 2017 she collected monies from three complainants amounting to J$225,000.
The applicants were scheduled to leave the island last week Wednesday, however, nothing was organised to accommodate such an arrangement.
