Woman injured in crash on East/West toll road

A woman was injured in a two vehicle crash along the exit ramp of the East/West toll road Thursday morning.
Superintendent Courtney Coubrie, acting head of the Highway and Traffic Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, said the crash involved a bus and a truck.
SSP Coubrie reported that the Isuzu truck developed mechanical problems and attempted to go onto the soft shoulder when it collided with the bus. 
As a result, the woman, who was exiting the bus, was hit. She reportedly broke both legs and received other injuries. 
She was taken to Spanish Town Hospital for treatment.
