A woman has been detained after she reportedly stabbed a man to death in the view of the police in St. Ann on Wednesday morning.
Detectives are trying ascertain the man's identity.
RJR News has been informed that shortly after 3:00 a.m. the man and the woman, who is said to be a commercial sex worker, had a dispute at a club in Salem, Runaway Bay.
It is reported that the man robbed the woman at knife point and stole money.
The police were in the process of addressing the man when the woman reportedly used a knife to stab him in the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
