Expansion work on Discovery Bay All Age School in St Ann should be completed in time for the 2016/2017 academic year.
The project, which is estimated to cost over $50 million, is being carried out by the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF). This is in an effort to support the Ministry of Education’s thrust at eliminating the shift system.
Under the project, eight classrooms have been constructed and a new sanitation block is to be completed by month end. JSIF said the classrooms are more accessible to disabled students.
