300-pound ganja bust in Burnt Savannah

The Lacovia Police, in St. Elizabeth seized three hundred pounds of ganja, following an operation in Burnt Savannah on Tuesday.  The police report that about 5:30  in the afternoon they were conducting an operation in the area when they were in the process of searching a premises.

On seeing the Police, several men who were reaping the ganja plant ran. A further search of the area led to the recovery of the ganja. One man has been arrested in relation to the find, however his identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
