A 79 year old man was killed in a motor vehicle accident along the Appleton by pass road in St Elizabeth on Wednesday morning. The dead man has been identified as Alphanso Hamilton of Windsor housing Scheme in Siloah. According to reports Mr Hamilton was riding his bicycle towards Siloah when he was passed by a tractor trailer which was hauling dunda from the Appleton Estates to canefields. The driver of the truck said after passing Mr. Hamilton he felt as if the truck rode a hump in the road. He then realised that Mr. Hamilton was no where in sight.
