JFJ raises alarm over Children's Homes
Eight years after the Keating Commission made recommendations for the establishment of a time-table to carry out inspections of physical facilities at all Children's Homes and Places of Safety, there are still deficiencies in the system. Jamaicans for Justice, JFJ, this afternoon raised concerns after reports that some of the children's homes are without fire extinguishers and functioning fire hydrants, among other things.
