Popular clergyman, Reverend Al Miller has been charged.

Reverend Miller was formally charged on Thursday afternoon with perverting the course of justice and harbouring a fugitive.

This follows hours of questioning by detectives at the Organised Crime Investigation Division in downtown Kingston after he was caught in the company of Christopher "Dudus" Coke.

Miller was offered bail in the sum of $200,000 and is scheduled to face the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Friday, July 2, 2010.

The charges were levelled against Reverend Miller following two days of interviews conducted by detectives from the Organised Crime Investigation Division.

Reverend Miller was driving the car transporting alleged drug dealer Christopher "Dudus" Coke when it was intercepted by the police.

Following an appeal for him to do so, Reverend Miller turned himself in about 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

ROMANS 13:1-2: “Everyone (including Rev. Al Miller) must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves (perverting the course of justice and harbouring a fugitive).”
