Trinidad to St Lucia route for CAL

Caribbean Airlines, CAL, says it will launch a Trinidad to St Lucia service in two weeks time.

The service which is to be launched on February 10, will put CAL in direct competition with REDjet and LIAT on the routes.

Fallout of this latest CAL initiative could be devastating for LIAT, overwhelmed by debt and employee problems, but continues to struggle to stay in the air.
