Autopsies done on victims of Fly Montserrat crash

Autopsies on the three victims of the October 7 Fly Montserrat plane crash show they died as a result of multiple blunt traumatic injuries, sustained in the disaster at VC Bird International Airport.

The Antgua Observer has reported that Trinidadian pathologist Dr Hugh Desvignes, along with Dr Sekeena Goodwin, conducted the post mortems on the weekend.

Pilot Jason Forbes, 31, Sandrama Poligadu, 57, who was travelling to Montserrat to help her daughter during a troubled pregnancy, and Annya Duncan, a Jamaican who was celebrating her 29th birthday, all died after the Fly Montserrat VP-MON flight 107 crashed on Sunday October 7.

Michael Hudson, 23; the sole survivor of the incident, has since been flown home  to the United Kingdom, after undergoing treatment at Mount St John’s Medical Centre.
