Cuba and Kuwait sign energy agreement

Cuba and Kuwait signed an agreement for a long-term loan in the energy sector on Friday in Havana. The agreement will allow Cuba to finance the construction of 34 small hydroelectric plants.  
It will provide for the acquisition of transportation for the construction of interconnection lines; improve access roads to places where hydroelectric plants are located, as well as the creation of jobs in those areas.
