All 39 members of the Reggae Girlz delegation are now in Scotland after their original flight plans were disrupted.
The senior women’s football team travelled in four separate groups at different times on Saturday, some travelling as far as Morocco en route to Scotland from Florida in the United States after their original flight plan was cancelled by the airline for unconfirmed bookings.
The inconvenience has been compounded by the fact that several team members are missing items of luggage critical to their preparation. Their managers are frantically working with the airlines to have these returned as soon as possible.
The footballers, though fatigued, are reportedly in high spirits.
Jamaica will face Scotland in their final friendly international on Tuesday at Hampden Park before travelling to the FIFA camp in Lyon France ahead of their historic World Cup debut.
The World Cup begins on June 7 with the Reggae Girlz facing Brazil on June 9 in their opener in Grenoble.
