Annsert Whyte wins in Florida

2016 Olympic 400 meter hurdles finalist Annsert Whyte was a winner at the Tom Jones Memorial Meet in Florida on Saturday. Whyte clocked 49.36 seconds to win his heat and the overall event. Meanwhile, sisters Shardia and Shadae Lawrence were winners at the Texas Invitational Meet. 

Representing Kansas State University, Shardia leapt 13.24 metres to win the women's triple jump while Shadae threw 58.68 meters to capture the women's discuss.
