Three-time Olympic gold medallist Veronica Campbell-Brown has been named to the 2017 Southeastern Conference women’s legend class in the United States.
The SEC women’s legends class highlights accomplished former student-athletes, coaches and administrators from all of the 14 member institutions.
Campbell-Brown joined the University of Arkansas Razorbacks in 2004 as a transfer from Barton County Community College where she won four NICAA national titles during her two-year stint. She remains the second-best performer in her signature event in collegiate history.
Most recently, Campbell-Brown captured her eighth Olympic medal as a member of Jamaica’s runner-up 4X100m relay team last August at the Rio Olympic Games.
The celebrated Razorback will be recognized at the 2017 SEC women’s basketball tournament, March 1-5 in Greenville, South Carolina.
