Another stalemate in RSPL Monday night fixture

Arnett Gardens and Montego Bay United played out a 0-0 stalemate in their Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) match on Monday night at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex. The result meant Arnett stayed in 6th place with 11 points while Montego Bay United moved up to 8th place on 10 points. Tivoli Gardens currently lead the table with 16 points.    

Meanwhile, the RSPL will serve up its first mid-week fixtures on Wednesday with three games and another three on Thursday. Tivoli Gardens will start favourites when they seek to extend their two point lead at the top of the standings when they host Humble Lion at 7:00 pm.

Both teams are coming off wins on Sunday with Tivoli prevailing 1-0 away to Portmore and Humble Lion getting the better of Harbour View in a 2-0 win at Effortville. At 3:00 pm, third place Mount Pleasant who were involved in a temperamental 1-1 draw at Stadium East with Cavalier on Sunday, will seek only their second win at home when they host 7th place Reno who defeated Dunbeholden in their last game.

Harbour View who has found the going tough this season and are in the relegation zone, will host 4th place Cavalier at 7:00 pm at the Compound.

The league continues on Thursday with three games with Waterhouse hosting Portmore, Montego Bay at home to UWI FC and Dunbeholden entertaining Arnett Gardens.
