Clare pleased with appoint of Consul General to NY
CEO and Co-founder of Team Jamaica Bickle, Irwin Clare has reacted positively to the appointment of Jamaica's Consul General to New York, Geneive Brown-Metzger to the board of the Friends of the Annual Penn Relay Carnival in the USA.
Dr. Brown-Metzger's appointment became effective on December 16, 2011 and will see her assisting the board of the friends of the annual penn relays in securing sponsorship for the relays and building relationships with various athletic stakeholders.
The Team Jamaica Bickle CEO is cautiously optimistic about the impact the Consul General's appointment will have on Jamaican athletes and officials attending the relay carnival.
Team Jamaica Bickle, is a U.S. based non -profit organization which has been assisting jamaican athletes, officials and coaches at the annual meet for the past 17 years.
This year's 118th staging of the Penn Relays is set for April 25 - 28.
