ISSA denies hoarding champs tickets
The ISSA boys and girls champs committee has strongly refuted claims they are hoarding tickets for special groups for next month's showpiece at the national stadium. But even as ISSA denies the claim, the fair trading commission says it stands ready to prevent any misleading advertising of tickets. ISSA champs committee chairperson Mrs. Colleen Montaque says claims of ISSA hoarding the much in demand champs 2012 tickets are misleading.
According Mrs. Montague, tickets will be available and advertised to all patrons as soon as they become available. But with complaints by patrons to the fair trading commission in 2010 and 2011 about the lack of tickets which were previously advertised, FTC CEO David Miller says it is important ISSA follows the guidelines of the fair competition's act. But Mrs. Montague explains that the champs committee was seeking to be fair to another big meet before they begin advertising their tickets. And while admitting that they had no issues with ISSA, the FTC says they stand ready to step in as they did in 2010 and 2011. The 2012 boys and girls athletics championships will be held from March 28 to 31 at the national stadium.

For the past several I was able to purchase grand stand tickets at Calabar ,but last year the tickets were not enough , I was forced to to purchase the tickets on the street at a very high price, how can this be avoided? Can there be a system in place to allow persons to book through the school of their choice to avoid the sale of illegal high priced tickets?. Will it be possible to zone the grandstand for the most popular schools such as Calabar, JC ,KC and so on? Full fledged Calabar supporter
