Atkinson not entered for second leg of FINA World Cup Series

Jamaican breast-stroker Alia Atkinson does not appear on the entry lists for the third meet in the FINA World Cup series to be contested this weekend in Moscow, Russia.

Atkinson is currently second in the women’s points and in line for a US $35,000 bonus but has to swim all three legs of the cluster to earn it.

Atkinson swam 29 seconds flat to win the 50 metre breaststroke on Wednesday, and earned the biggest points bonus of the meet.

She had finished second in the 100 metre breaststroke won by Katie Meili in an American record and also competed in the 50 metre butterfly.
