Barbados Pride manager fined for breaching code of conduct

The West Indies Cricket Board on Thursday revealed that manager of the Barbados Pride Wendell Coppin was fined 65 percent of his match fee for a level two breach of the code of conduct, following the third round of the regional professional 4 day tournament.

Coppin's sanction came after his comments carried by a Barbadian newspaper, questioning the decision-making of umpires.

Five players - Steven Katwaroo and Imran Khan of Trinidad & Tobago Red Force, Steve Liburd and Sherwin Peters of Leeward Islands Hurricanes, and Jonathan Carter of the Barbados Pride were also penalized for various infractions.
