BB Coke upset Manchester High to reach Ben Francis KO final

BB Coke High School are into the final of the ISSA Ben Francis Cup Knockout Competition after defeating Manchester High 2-1 at the Juici Field in Clarendon on Thursday. It was Manchester who went infront on 28 minutes courtesy of their prolific captain Dane Golding but BB Coke found the equaliser in the 50th minute through a spectacular free-kick by Kaymani Case.

The Junction-based school eventually took command of the contest and got the clincher from Shamar Robinson who scored from the penalty spot in the 76th minute after captain Jason Dyer had been brought down by Manchester's goalkeeper Kevin Dixon.

The second semi-final between St Elizabeth Technical and Garvey Maceo was aborted due to a water-logged field just before half time. Garvey Maceo were leading 1-0 at the stoppage.
