Binnie secures ninth national title

Caribbean number one Chris Binnie secured his ninth national title after winning the Jamaican Squash Championship at the Ligueanea Club on Friday. Binnie defeated Bruce Burrows 11-6, 11-4, 11-3 in half an hour to claim the crown.

The 30 year old Binnie is fine-tuning preparations ahead of the Squash World Cup next month. The Squash World Cup which will feature the Jamaican quartet of Binnie, Burrowes, Tajay lumley and lewis walters is set to run from december 14 to 21 in the united states.
