Blaine denies resignation came as a result of Burrell's passing

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jeremain Brown

Director of Football at the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Vin Blaine says his decision to resign coming on the heels of the passing of JFF President Captain Horace Burrell was merely a coincidence. Blaine is set to take up the post of Technical Director with the Grenada Football Association.

He says working in Grenada as a Technical Director will be a new challenge and one which he relishes. Blaine says the opportunity came about while he was directing a CONCACAF ‘B’ Licence course in Grenada. Blaine will leave his current post at the JFF on July 12 as he takes off for his two year contract in Grenada.
