Bolt plans to build sports clinic in Jamaica

Nine-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt says he plans to build a sports clinic in the Jamaica  to help youth athletes with their health.

Bolt who has struggled with injuries over the years, has sought overseas help for his recuperation.

Speaking on NBC’s Today Show, he said: “When I was growing up, the biggest problem for athletes was getting injured. When we would get injured, we didn’t get the best medical care, especially if you were from the rural areas.”

Bolt continued: “I decided to build a clinic so it would be cheaper for the younger ones so they would get better medical care because I have great connections and I can help them get healthy and get back on track.”

Bolt who won 3 gold medals in the 2012 Olympic Games held in London, cited the great atmosphere in England's capital as a key factor in him competing for another year. The 2017 IAAF World Championships will be held in London from August 5–13.
