With just under ten months remaining to the next Olympics in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, six time gold medallist Usain Bolt is again setting lofty goals as he reported for training on Monday at his UWI Mona base.

The 11 time World Championship gold medallist has set a sub 19 second time in the 200 metres among his targets for 2016.

“It’s one of my major goals and it’s one of the toughest ones. It’s all about putting in the work and I really think I can do it,” said the six time Olympic Gold medallist.

His training on Monday had to be shelved because of rain but the 29 year old speedster is eagerly anticipating the rest of training for the 2016 season.

“One thing the coach has explained to me is that rain doesn’t stop races so it won’t stop training,” he concluded. Bolt holds the 10and 200 metres world records of 9.58 and 19.19 seconds respectively.

Both times were set at the 2009 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Berlin, German.
