Bowie undecided about doubling at London World Champs

Voice of US sprinter Tori Bowie

American Tori Bowie has joined the list of sprinters not looking to double at the IAAF World Championships between August 4 and 13 in London.

Bowie, who won the 100m and finished third in the 200m at the USA trials to book her ticket to London says she will make her final decision within weeks.

“Right now my coach just wants to give me the option of whether I want to do 100 or 200m. I haven’t decided yet. I did the double in Rio and collected my two medals so right now I’m satisfied,” said Bowie who won the 100m silver and 200m bronze at the Rio Olympics last summer.

Jamaica's double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson will only compete in the 100m in London after opting not to contest the 200m at the national trials on the weekend.
