"Bunny" Shaw scores double in French Women's League debut

Reggae Girlz forward Khadija “Bunny” Shaw started her French Women's League career in style after scoring twice in Bordeaux's 4-1 win over Fleury on Saturday. The 22 year old netted in the 75th and 90th minute to guide Bordeaux to a opening day victory. 

Shaw signed a 2 year deal with the club , prior to the FIFA Women's World Cup in France this summer after scoring an impressive 31 goals in 24 appearances for Jamaica. She will next be in action on September 7 against Gijon.

Bordeaux who finished fourth in the league last season, will need a top two finish to qualify for the Women's UEFA Champions League next season.
