Bruce Burrowes and Lewis Walters both recorded wins on the second night of the Jamaica Squash Association Pan American Games trials at the Liguanea Club. In the first match on the day Walters beat of Dane Schwier in four sets 12-10, 11-3, 9-12, 11-9. Burrowes got the better of Tahjia Lumley in three sets 11-7, 12-10, 11-1.
Walters had beaten Lumley on day one, while Burrowes got by Schwier in a 5-setter. The four players are battling for two spots to join Jamaica’s number one Chris Binnie in Lima, Peru for the Pan Am Games later this year.
